Ash, a free matte black and white filter
Ash is a quiet, matte black and white: soft blacks, darker midtones and a calm, editorial feel.

What Ash looks like
Instead of punchy contrast, Ash lifts the blacks into a soft matte and pulls the midtones down a little. The result is subdued and modern, like a fashion editorial printed on matte paper.
It works well for minimal compositions and moody portraits, and helps busy photos feel calmer.

You can take this look into other apps. Open it, then on the Save tab download it as a LUT (.cube) for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut, with versions for log footage, or as a Lightroom profile with an Amount slider. Both carry the look's color; add grain and glow in the other app.
