About Kodak Ektar 100 and EK100

Ektar 100 is an ISO 100 color negative film that Kodak describes as having the world's finest grain. It's known for highly saturated, punchy color, especially reds and blues, which makes it a landscape and travel favorite.

EK100 brings rich, clean color to your photos while keeping grain to a minimum. Skies deepen, reds and oranges glow, and contrast is firm without crushing the shadows. Skin can turn warm and ruddy, so it's best for scenery rather than close portraits.

Tips

  • Keep Grain off: the clean finish is part of the look.
  • If reds get too strong, lower Saturation for reds in the Color mixer.
  • Pair it with Dehaze around 10 to 20 on hazy landscapes.
