P400, a free Portra 400 style filter
Soft, warm and flattering: P400 is our take on the look of Kodak Portra 400, the color negative film portrait and wedding photographers have loved for decades.

About Kodak Portra 400 and P400
Portra 400 is a professional ISO 400 color negative film known for natural skin tones, wide exposure latitude and a gentle, low-contrast palette. Photographers often overexpose it slightly to get its creamy, airy highlights.
P400 recreates that feel on a digital photo. It warms skin without turning it orange, lifts and softens the highlights into pastel tones, and keeps contrast gentle so faces and fabrics stay smooth. Greens lean slightly toward olive and skies stay soft rather than electric blue.

Best for
- Portraits and couples
- Weddings and events
- Golden-hour and window light
- Everyday people pictures
Tips
- Add a little Grain (Amount around 15 to 25) for a scanned-film texture.
- If skin looks too warm, nudge Temperature cooler instead of lowering the filter strength.
- Raise Exposure a touch before applying it: Portra looks best a little bright.
