P160, a free Portra 160 style filter
P160 is the quietest of our film looks: soft contrast, neutral-warm skin and a clean, fine-grained finish, in the spirit of Kodak Portra 160.

About Kodak Portra 160 and P160
Portra 160 is the slower sibling of Portra 400: an ISO 160 color negative film made for daylight and studio portraits, with very fine grain and especially soft contrast.
P160 brings that restraint to your photos. It keeps colors close to natural, warms skin slightly and opens up shadows so nothing feels heavy. It's a good choice when you want a photo to look like film without looking filtered.
Color at a glance
Each pair shows a color before (left) and after (right) P160.
Best for
- Studio and daylight portraits
- Fashion and product shots
- Bright, evenly lit scenes
- Photos you want to keep natural
Tips
- Pair it with Fade around 10 for a matte print feel.
- For more punch, raise Contrast a little rather than switching looks.
- It's a calm base: try it before adding your own color grading.

Use P160 on video and in Lightroom
You can take this look into other apps. Open it, then on the Save tab download it as a LUT (.cube) for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut, with versions for log footage, or as a Lightroom profile with an Amount slider. Both carry the look's color; add grain and glow in the other app.
