Rust, a free gritty grainy urban filter
Rust is gritty and raw: warm oranges, strong texture and heavy grain for street photos with attitude.

What Rust looks like
Rust warms the palette toward orange and rust tones and adds heavy grain. It makes clean digital photos feel rough, tactile and urban.
It's built for street, skate, music and night-out photos, where texture matters more than polish.
Color at a glance
Each pair shows a color before (left) and after (right) Rust.
Best for
- Street and skate
- Concerts and nightlife
- Industrial scenes
- Gritty portraits
Tips
- Change grain character on the Adjust tab: Size makes it coarser, Roughness makes it uneven.
- Lower Filter strength if skin turns too orange.
- Try TX400 for gritty black and white.

Use Rust on video and in Lightroom
You can take this look into other apps. Open it, then on the Save tab download it as a LUT (.cube) for Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, Final Cut or CapCut, with versions for log footage, or as a Lightroom profile with an Amount slider. Both carry the look's color; add grain and glow in the other app.
