Editing happens inside your browser. Your photos are not uploaded to us, and we never store them.
If you use Ask AI, a small copy of the photo you are editing and your typed request are sent through our server to Anthropic, the company that makes Claude, so it can answer. Our server does not keep the photo or the request after answering. Anthropic handles them under its own terms and privacy policy, which allow it to keep them for a limited time. Everything else, including the Remove brush, runs on your device.
We count how the editor is used so we can improve it. For each visit we record which tools, filters and save formats are used; how many photos are opened and whether they are camera RAW files; the size of saved photos in megapixels; errors; how long after the page opened each action happened; device type, operating system, browser, screen size and language; whether the editor is installed as an app; an approximate country (a two-letter code from the network); and which website or campaign link brought you here. Each visit also gets its own random number so its events can be grouped together. We do not sell this data, and we never record photos or what you type into Ask AI.
While usage counting is on, the editor also saves a random number in your browser's storage so we can tell a returning visitor from a new one. It is not a cookie, it says nothing about you, and it is not linked to your name, email address or IP address. It is sent along with the usage data above. Clearing this site's data removes it, but a new one is made on your next visit.
We do not save IP addresses. Our server briefly holds them in memory, never on disk, only to limit how often Ask AI and our private statistics login can be used. Like any website, our hosting provider handles your connection to deliver the pages and may keep short-term technical logs. The font and all other files load from this site, not from other companies.
Daily totals and individual usage events, including the random numbers, are deleted automatically after 400 days.
When you share a look, the link holds only your edit settings, after the # sign, so it is never sent to our server. Your photo is not included.
These stay in your own browser and never reach us: looks you save (including a small preview of any photo you matched colors to), small preferences, the random visitor number described above, and a copy of the editor so it works offline. Clearing this site's data removes all of them.
This site is not directed at children under 13.
